It is widely recognised within the education and mental health sectors that children and young people’s mental health and levels of wellbeing have a huge impact on their ability to learn and achieve. A whole-school approach to mental health and wellbeing provides an ideal opportunity to teach wellbeing strategies that can protect against the onset of mental health problems throughout the lifespan.
